REGISTRATION

Registration for weekly courses

Registration for the autumn term’s courses opens on 30 August at 6 pm! A link to the registration form will be posted on this page. Registration remains open until Sunday 11 October.

The courses start on Monday 5.10. and they consist of 11 classes.

In order to ensure a good lead-follow balance for the participants, it is required to register in advance for all courses. Participants will be accepted into the groups in the order of registration, while maintaining a good balance between leaders and followers. Those registering with a partner will be able to join the course directly if the course is not full. The partner's name should be provided on the registration form, and both individuals should register separately.

You will receive a confirmation email regarding your acceptance into the course. Each course will have a separate confirmation email sent out. If you are unable to secure a spot in the course, you will also receive a notification. Payment details will be sent in a separate email at a later time. (Please remember to check your spam folder!) If you have not received information about your course acceptance prior to the start of the courses or if you have any questions, please contact the member representative via email: jasenvastaava (at) turkuswingsociety.com.

Cancellation policy

The first classes of the courses (except for the advanced group) are open to all without registration or commitment. By attending a course (except the first class of the courses) you are obliged to pay the full course fee. Course fees can only be refunded for serious reasons, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the association's board members. In such cases, the proportion of the course fee not attended will be refunded. After the eighth course, no refunds will be granted. In the event of cancellation due to a national crisis like epidemic, the course fee will not be refunded.

Infectious diseases safety measures

To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, we at Turku Swing Society have outlined the following measures:

  • When attending the classes, it is important to be in good health. If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not come to the dance class!
  • Good hand hygiene and cough etiquette are followed during the classes (hands are washed with soap or hand sanitizer before and after the class).

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
