LINDY HOP BEGINNER INTENSIVE
Beginner intensive Sat 20.4. – Sun 21.4.
The requested Lindy Hop beginner intensive course is here!
The course will be held at the Flying Steps studio on Saturday, April 20th to Sunday, April 21st, from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM. There will be a total of 5 hours of instruction, led by the well-liked and long-time instructors at TSS, Jasmin Moussa, Olli Moisio and Marianna Manninen. The course fee is 59 € which includes also 20.4. Saturday night's lindy hop party.
The beginner course starts right from the beginning, and you don't need to know anything about dancing! You will receive clear instructions on what happens next in the course. So, it's suitable for everyone, even for those who have diagnosed themselves as having no rhythm or dancing skills! 😉 There will be partner rotation during the course, so you don't need to register with your own partner (although you can choose to dance only with your partner if you prefer). However, by registering with a partner, you ensure your spot in the course, as we take care of maintaining a balanced leader-follower ratio.

Bring comfortable clothes to move in and your own water bottle, as it can get hot while dancing! For this course, you don't need special dance shoes; you can comfortably dance in socks, woolen socks, or light-colored sneakers, for example. If you choose to dance in shoes, please note that they should not leave marks on the floor, and the sole should provide enough glide, so it's best to avoid rubber-soled indoor shoes.

Beginner intensive on Facebook.
During the same weekend, a Lindy Hop party will also be held at the same venue from 6 PM to 9 PM. At the beginning of the party, from 6 PM to 6:30 PM, there will be half an hour of Lindy Hop instruction. The class is open level, so it's suitable also for the beginner intensive participants.
The Saturday night's party is free for participants of the beginner intensive course. The regular price is 5 € for TSS members and 7 € for non-members.
