Design competition 11.3.-1.4.

Create a new design for Turku Swing Society's merchandise products!

We are making some cool new support products for TSS and are looking for a new design for them! The new products are chosen together with the members and could be, for example, a T-shirt, coffee mug, reflector, shoe bag or frisbee fan. The design submitted does not have to fit all of these, but wide applicability is considered a plus!

COMPETITION PERIOD: 11.3.-1.4.2025.

PRIZES: The main prize is free admission to Turku Swing Society's autumn 2025 or spring 2026 courses. The three best participants will also be awarded a club support product of their choice with the new design!

PARTICIPATION INSTRUCTIONS: The design can be, for example, funny, serious or even insightfully summarize the activities of Turku Swing Society. We hope to receive a variety of designs created in different ways for the competition! The new design will be in use for as long as new support products last, so a timeless one would work the best. The design can be, for example, a drawing, text or collage and may use the Turku Swing Society logo in white or black. You can download the logo files from Google Drive: https://shorturl.at/Cyp7W

Send your design (or several!) or a draft of it to the member representative's email jasenvastaava(at)turkuswingsociety.fi by April 1st, 2025. You can send the file in .pdf, .jpg or .tiff format with a maximum file size of 10 Mb. Send the design with the highest possible resolution so that it can be used for many different sizes of support products! You may submit only your own designs to the competition and the competitor is responsible for ensuring that the design or any part of it does not infringe copyright or trademark protection. The winner of the competition grants TSS full rights to use the design without restriction in the society's support products and related communications. The grant includes the right to use, copy and use parts of the design. However, the winner may of course use their design in their own references.

If fewer than three entries are received for the design competition, or if no suitable design is found by the deadline, the competition will be cancelled.
